Venance Mwangonda is an experienced IT professional who has worked in many industries over the past two decades. He started as a system administrator at the University of Dar Es Salaam-African Virtual University (AVU) Office, then joined the Central Bank of Tanzania (BOT) as a system analyst and programmer. He worked for 8 years before moving to the United States to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science and Information Systems at the University of Michigan-Flint, completed in 2012, and a Master's degree in Project Management at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, completed in 2018. Currently, she is working as a software engineer at the University of Michigan Medicine. In order to fulfill my dream of serving my society and the community around me, I’m working with JSouls Nonprofit Corporation to foster a culture of wellness and promote healthier lifestyles for all.
